The U.S. seems to have turned its back on Europe, inflation —once thought to be defeated — has reemerged, and the green transition, which has been a political and economic driver, has lost momentum. What does this mean for business priorities? How does it change the dynamics of the economy, influence public opinion, and what kind of political response can we expect?
To discuss these questions, Paues Åberg invites you to a lunchtime seminar on the theme State of the Nation. To help us bring some clarity, we have invited two distinguished guests:
- Alexandra Stråberg, Chief Economist at LF and one of the country’s most sought-after commentators on economic developments, both nationally and internationally.
- Carl Bergkvist, Chief Economist at the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, who previously served as Deputy Press Secretary to Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. With his finger on the pulse of businesses and metropolitan regions, he also brings fresh experience in national policymaking.
The seminar will be held in English, as we will be joined by a delegation from our Finnish partner agency, Tekir.
